Admissions to Albert Pritchard Nursery are managed by the school.

 

Places are offered to children from the term after their third birthday if there are spaces available.  There are two Nursery sessions a day.

 

• Morning session 8.30am – 11.30am (15 hours per week)
• Afternoon session 12.30pm – 3.30pm (15 hours per week)

 

We do offer a limited amount of 30 hours places where children can attend both sessions each day.  These sessions are only available to those who qualify for 30 hours of funded childcare.  An application must be made to the government and eligible parents will receive an 11-digit childcare code as proof of entitlement. We need this code to proceed with a 30-hour place.

Nursery Lunch Club

As Nursery is closed between the times of 11.30am and 12.30pm we offer a “Lunch club” to enable children to stay onsite between sessions. This costs £5 per day and is payable half termly. Children will need to bring a healthy packed lunch to eat whilst at lunch club.

Children can alternatively be picked up at 11:30am and return to Nursery at 12:30pm at no cost.

 

How to apply for an APWG Nursery Place.

Application forms are available from the school office. Please complete all sections of the form and return it to the school office. When spaces become available you will be contacted with further information and a provisional start date for your child. If there are more applicants than there are places, then places will be offered on the following basis.

 

• Date of birth (oldest children first)
• Distance from school (if two children share the same date of birth the child living closest to the school (as the crow flies) will be offered the place first.
