At APWG we teach a Creative Curriculum that encompasses all the National Curriculum Foundation Subjects.

The School day opening and closing times for 2025/2026:

• Nursery am arrival: 8.30am - Collection: 11.30am
• Reception arrival: 8.45am - 8.55am - Collection: 3.15pm
• Year 1 arrival: 8.45am - 8.55am - Collection: 3.15pm
• Year 2 arrival: 8.45am - 8.55am - Collection: 3.15pm
• Year 3 arrival: 8.45am - 8.55am - Collection: 3.25pm
• Year 4 arrival: 8.45am - 8.55am - Collection: 3.30pm
• Year 5 arrival: 8.45am - 8.55am - Collection: 3.30pm
• Year 6 arrival: 8.45am - 8.55am - Collection: 3.30pm

Teaching and learning hours per child per week are:

• Albert Pritchard Infant School - weekly time - 31 hours and 40 minutes
• Wood Green Junior School  - Year 3 weekly time - 32 hours and 30 minutes, Years 4, 5 and 6 - 32 hours and 55 minutes

Nursery

Morning Nursery starts with registration at 8.30am and finishes at 11.30am.

Reception to Year 6

The school day officially starts at 8.55am. Children are registered at this time, and they take part in various skills-based activities. We offer ‘trickling in’ from 8.45am, where you are welcome to bring your child to school from this time, where a member of staff will be in the classroom to receive pupils. Any child entering school after 8.55am will need to be brought to the main office.
